Life | Something New

I once read an article that to be successful in the bloggyblog world you needed to stick to one topic. I never believed in that (clearly-ha!) which is why I run a lifestyle blog full of beauty, books, fashion, and my life. I normally keep things around here light and fun which is pretty much how I live my life, but there’s one obsession I have and it’s something I want to start sharing here.

I’m really passionate about missing people. And if by sharing the stories of missing people here and getting a little bit more exposure for them and their families, then why not?! I think I’ve always been interested in missing people cases. I can recall a missing poster that was up in my local mall when I was way younger that I tried to memorize (I can still remember that he was wearing a black puffy winter jacket in the photo). I’m not sure if he was ever found (and it’s not like my dad was really willing to follow the storyline for his 7 year old daughter-haha!).

As a kid, I watched A LOT of Unsolved Mysteries. I mean almost every Saturday night I was tuning in with my grandparents to keep up with the true crime of America. There were times I would be seriously creeped out at what was happening, but I always wanted to know more-the why, how, etc. As I’ve gotten older my love for true crime has only grown with my focus really in missing people.

Here are the cases I’m currently following;

Maura Murray; a 21 year old woman who went missing in Haverhill, NH on Feburary 9th, 2004- if you have any information at all, please contact NH State Police 603-271-2663

Sheryl Sheppard; a 29 year old woman who went missing in Niagara Falls, ON on January 2nd, 1998- if you have any information at all, please contact http://missedlives.org/sheryl-sheppard/

Crystal Rogers; a 35 year old woman who went missing in Bardstown, KY on July 4th, 2015- if you have any information at all, please contact the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office at 502-348-1870

Angel Riley Izraael; an 11 year old girl who did not get on the school bus on Thursday, Sept 6th, 2018- if you have any information at all, please contact the East Orange PD CIB at 973-266-5000

In the next few weeks to come, I'm going to share each of these stories with you just so they have another place on the internet. Remember, someone knows something.

What's something that you love and wish you could do more to help with? Let's chat in the comments, xo!
