Series | Feature Friday!

Back with the feature Fridays and I have the next few weeks all lined up. So sit back and get ready to meet some more of my fave people of the internet! Today we have my gorgeous and sweetest friend, Emma! Check out her blog after you get to know her, xo!

I'm 27 but still pretending I'm 23. I live with my boyfriend and our Frenchie Basil. I have 5 brothers and growing up being the only girl taught me a lot about the other sex and exactly how to get them to see things your way. I'm a chocoholic and a bit of foodie. I love to eat but only enjoy cooking when I have a lot of time. I've always been a girly girl who loves make up and nails but I'm not the best at either lol. I've been a book blogger for 3 years now and it's hands down the best decision I ever made.

p&b-what made you start a blog?

I was actually reading I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk and the main character started a blog. I was so interested in it I wanted to start one.

p&b-who or what inspires you?

ooo this is a toughie. Lots of things inspire me. My favourite authors are a huge influence on me and I would say my boyfriend too.

p&b-favorite author?

Really just one? I can't pick one but my top authors are Aven Ellis, Holly Martin, Lindsey Kelk, Paige Toon and Karen Swan but there are sooo many others.

p&b-favorite book or series of all time?

Oh man! You are mean. I think I have to pick Christmas at Tiffany's by Karen Swan. I adore this book because the locations are amazing and so well described. The story is also very inspiring.

p&b-you run a website based on books and reviews & even run internet book tours-why did you decide to base your blog around this?

I have read books since I was a little girl. I was the girl that had a torch and hid under her duvet with a book long after I should have been sleeping. When I decided I wanted to start a blog it was an obvious choice really.

p&b-what's the best part of running a book blog?

Connecting with authors and when someone tells you that they have purchased a book because of your review. That's the icing on the cake really.

p&b-you're hanging out with your girlfriends, are you staying in or going out-what's your girls' night look like?

Haha we are so terrible at girls nights. We have the best intentions but somehow the boys always appear. The last girls night we had was when I was living on my own and I had all the girls round for food, makeovers etc. it was a real old school slumber party. We even watched Clueless.

p&b-must have product?

ooo recently I have become addicted to Benefit make up and I absolutely LOVE their Boing concealer.

p&b-best advice you've ever received?

It was actually from our Momma, Aven Ellis. I was going through some tough times with my ex and trying to decide if the relationship should continue or not and it may seem like simple advice but at the time it was exactly what I needed. She told me to look after me. Don't worry about the rest of the world and what everyone else will think about my decision just make the decision that was best for me and at a time when you have everyone trying to give you their opinion it was the best advice and I thank Aven from the bottom of my heart for being their for me through that.

p&b-where do you see yourself in 5 years?

This one is difficult. I tend to be one of those people that takes each day as it comes. I don't tend to look forward too much. I'd like to have children at some point and get married but I've never been one of those people that needs to rush at it. It will happen when it happens.

p&b-favorite food?

Chocolate. Hands down.

p&b-if you could switch lives with any celebrity, who would it be?

hmmm I'm not really one for the celebrity lifestyle. It would be great to not need to worry about the money but I would hate everyone knowing all my business. So it would have to be someone who's good at keeping their private life private.
