a book in review!

Brief Summary:

Unleashed, the romantic, high-stakes sequel to New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan's Uninvited, is perfect for fans of such favorites as James Patterson's Confessions of a Murder Suspect.
Davy has spent the last few months trying to come to terms with the fact that she tested positive for the kill gene HTS (also known as Homicidal Tendency Syndrome). She swore she would not let it change her, and that her DNA did not define her . . . but then she killed a man.
Now on the run, Davy must decide whether she'll be ruled by the kill gene, or if she'll follow her heart and fight for her right to live free. But with her own potential for violence laying right beneath the surface, Davy doesn't even know if she can trust herself.

Review:

I just finished Unleashed and I can't stop thinking about it. You may remember I read the first book in this two book series on recommendation from Kaylee because she said book 2 was in the top 3 books she's ever read. She said in her review that the author takes everything you thought you knew and flips in on it's side. She was 100% right! I don't want to give anything away, so I'm going to be really general with you. Davy's journey continues and she still is focusing on coming to terms with being a carrier. She has to learn how to embrace that part of her and move it aside from constantly dwelling on it. There's lots of twists and turns, ups & downs for Davy in this book and once the shocks start, they don't really stop. I'm still deciding if I love the ending or if I hate it. If you've read Unleashed, let's discuss how you feel about how Davy's story ends up! I recommend this 4.5 star book to anyone who loves dystopian novels that leave you on the edge of your seat, xo!
