I can't believe it's already VMA time! To me that marks the unofficial end of Summer. (it used to mark the first week of school, but they've since gone to running the show at the end of August. Also, the show always use to be in NYC...ah, those were the days.) For music's most fun and unpredictable night in both antics and fashion, I decided to rock the look below.
I kept my look very rocker chic, laid back and casual. This isn't a gown event by any means. I took a peek at what I wore to the show in year's past-this is my 3rd RCS post for the VMAs! In past years, I wore mini dresses that were full of glitz and glam, but this time I wanted to mix fabrics. The flowy baby pink top with the leather shorts. Then you have the cool Repossi ear cuff and the stacked Oscar de la Renta ring. With a pair of black Valentinos and of course, a McQueen clutch that doubles as rings. Love this whole look!
For glam, I kept it simple. I like for the clothes to do the talking on the carpet. But I went with a think wing inspired by my new girl crush Jaclyn Hill (like I binge watch her videos and her snapchat is my fave thing to watch after work everyday...) Mixed with a chic ponytail so you can see the detail of the dress and ear cuff. The glam is complete with a matte lip (which is my obsession for fall...!) and black nails with a simple silver stripe. Let me know if you think this would make the best dressed list, xo!
