Must or Bust? | CoverGirl Quad

promo: morb?

For this new series, I'm going to review new products and tell you if they are a must or a bust. First up on the agenda is CoverGirl EyeShadow Quad in Blooming Blushes.

How pretty do these colors look?

I really like quads. Each color holds a purpose for your lid and with a numbered quad, it takes all of the guessing out of what goes where. Quads are great for anyone who's just getting into makeup. They're also great for someone who travels alot, instead of taking a whole palatte you can just throw this in your bag and go. My favorite color in this quad is #1. You can use it for an inner corner color or to help blend out any harsh lines.

This swatch shows how pigaminted each of the colors are. The 4th color is the only real matte color in the quad. One of the things I really like about this quad is you can use 2 colors to make a complete look. To me #4 and #1 together make a quick complete eye that will be a little smokey, but won't look like you've taken hours to get the look.

For the look below, I used each color and created a pretty pink smokey eye.

For my crease, I used the 4th color to really matte out my crease. It's an extremely buildable color so you can really deepen out the crease. Next, I used the 3rd color that has the shimmer to it. I used that in my crease as well and also smudged it onto my lower lash line. Color #2 I patted on to my whole lid. And last but not least, I used the 1st color to line my upper lash line and a little bit on my inner corner, really focusing near the lower lash line.

So the verdict on the CoverGirl EyeShadow Quad in Blooming Blushes is a total

I will definitely be on the hunt for more of these and hope they stick around for a while. Let me know if you have any products you want to see in Must or Bust? Until tomorrow, xo!
