Well look at this, I am actually putting out a monthly fave post! Wahooo, hang on a minute, I need to clean up the confetti. Okay, I'm back and let's jump right into my fave things for the month of May!
Beauty & Fashion
Maybelline The Blushed Nudes-this palatte is an extremely close dupe for the Naked 3 palatte. I love the colors and they are all really pigamented. I like palattes like this cause you can create so many different looks. And bonus, it's $9.98!
CoverGirl EyeShadow Quad in Blooming Blushes -I won't get into much about this product because it's the product I'm using to launch my new June series next Wednesday, but let's just say it's a major fave!
Sandals-I needed a new black flat sandal for the warmer weather. I will live in these. I need them in nude (they didn't have my size)...oh and at $8.96, you can get every color and you won't break the bank.
Silver hoops-Okay, I used to be a hoops girl. Like I wore three little hoops in each ear for ALL of HighSchool. My hoop love is back and in full effect because of my fave Kardashian. And as she says "the bigger the hoop, the bigger the hoe."
My mascara combo: Maybelline One by One in Brownish Black & Maybelline Lash Sensational in Blackish Black-I like to do two coats of each starting with the One by One. Layering the colors helps me get lashes that really pop. I've even been asked if they were my real lashes because together they look so natural and pretty!
The Definition of Icing by Aven Ellis-this book means tons to me for a few reasons, but mostly because it is SO WELL WRITTEN. Aven's writing style is just so real life, she was born to write Rom-Coms. Check out my review here and be sure to pick up a copy cause it comes out today!
Anthem Lights-My friend Dana got me hooked on them a couple weeks ago! Their covers and mashups are amazing! Definitely go check them out on spotify. While you're over there, follow me on spotify too-kpaine718!
Watermelon-When I was younger, watermelon was one of my favorite parts about Summer. I've recently fallen back in love with this delicious fruit. I've woke up out of a deep sleep and was craving some. It's the perfect thing to eat on a hot day. I love putting a few pieces in my water bottle too, helps me drink more!
Steaz Iced Green Tea with Coconut Water-btooth & I stumbled upon these a couple weeks ago in the Organic section of her grocery store. We've tried a few, but both agree this one is the best! The coconut water is what makes this green tea so good. We will definitely be enjoying these all Summer!
What were some of you fave things in May? Let me know, until next time, xo!
